2 historical reading summaries: 2 pages each, double-spaced, 600 wds min the first one reviewed by instructor and revised 1 compact disc critique: 4 pages, double-spaced peer-reviewed and revised, at mid-term 1 video critique: 3 pages, double-spaced reviewed by instructor and revised 1 critical book report: 10 pages, double-spaced graded by instructor at end of semester 2 take-home essays for fine: 3 pages each, double-spaced graded by instructor

Writing Intensive Teaching

All of the assignments carry with them the issue of interpretation and analysis. The compact disc critique, the video review, and the book review will be dedicated to the same historical figure or repertory selected by the student and approved by the instructor.
2 historical readings: one in first half of semester, the other in the second half compact disc critique: midterm video review: 3/4s through the semester book report: last week of class 2 essays: finals week.
