Elementary French III - Honors
A multi-skill course following FRENCH 1200, centering on cultural/ literary reading, and including a grammar review, practice of the spoken language, as well as some practice in written expression.
 
Lecture/Standard
A-F (allow student to choose S/U option)
grade of C or better in FRENCH 1200 or FRENCH 1250, or their equivalent courses. Honors eligibility required.

The Campus Writing Program conducts a two-day faculty workshop to assist with the design and implementation of your writing intensive course. Once your course proposal has been approved by the Campus Writing Program, you will receive information on time, date and location of the workshop.

Honors Course Information

The regular section of French 2100 focuses on grammar review. The students in the Honors section should have a solid foundation in most French grammar topics. The class will emphasize in depth reading of longer texts. Students will actively engage in prediction of what might happen in the stories they are reading, summaries, comparisons and analysis through extensive speaking and writing activities.
