Honors Exposition English
Stresses writing as a process, with due attention given to critical reading and thinking skills applicable to all college classes, as well as to invention, drafting, revising, and rewriting. English 1000 is a prerequisite for any Writing Intensive course.

The Campus Writing Program conducts a two-day faculty workshop to assist with the design and implementation of your writing intensive course. Once your course proposal has been approved by the Campus Writing Program, you will receive information on time, date and location of the workshop.

Honors Course Information

Theme of Environmentalism, Sustainability, and Social Justice requires students to complete three units focusing on close reading analysis, debate among three or more texts, and an inquiry essay, plus a group ethnography project--emphasis on critical thinking, reading, and writing, peer-oriented constructive criticism, and collaboration.
