Honors Exposition English
Stresses writing as a process, with due attention given to critical reading and thinking skills applicable to all college classes, as well as to invention, drafting, revising, and rewriting. English 1000 is a prerequisite for any Writing Intensive course.

The Campus Writing Program conducts a two-day faculty workshop to assist with the design and implementation of your writing intensive course. Once your course proposal has been approved by the Campus Writing Program, you will receive information on time, date and location of the workshop.

Briefly describe the qualifications of the known graduate instructors, or planned qualifications if graduate instructors are still to be selected, bearing in mind that graduate students teaching honors courses should be advanced students with a record of excellent teaching.
Carli Sinclair is a fourth-year PhD student with an excellent record of teaching, particularly in composition.

Honors Course Information

Semester-long project requiring community involvement--"learning through active investigation and critical thinking." The community organization or place is the center of a series of writing assignments in different genres and a multimodal presentation.
