Health Humanities

The BA in Health Humanities is an interdisciplinary degree for students interested health careers in its broadest terms: as practitioners, policy makers, administrators, communicators, community organizers, educators, and others. Coursework draws from humanities and social science offerings in College of Arts and Science departments such as English, Philosophy, History, Sociology, Anthropology, and Women’s and Gender Studies, as well as coursework from the departments of Public Health and Health Sciences in the College of Health Sciences.

Courses in the Health Humanities program are taught by faculty from departments across the College of Arts and Science as well as faculty in the departments of Public Health and Health Sciences within the College of Health Sciences.
