INTL_S 4290: Pre-Departure Seminar for the TaLK Program

Prior to beginning the TaLK Program in Korea, students will explore Korean language, culture and educational system through seminars and workshops provided by the Asian Affairs Staff and guest speakers. Graded on A-F basis only.

Prerequisites: instructor's consent


INTL_S 4940: SLLC Global Internship

(same as LG_LT_CT 4940). Cross-cultural and/or multilingual work experience in an organization that is relevant to SLLC curriculum. Enrollment limited to students who are in good standing. Internship often counts toward major/minor requirements; check with instructor or language section.

INTL_S 4950: Undergraduate Research in International Studies

This is a course that allows junior and senior International Studies students to engage in advanced individual research under faculty supervision on topics relevant to international studies. The research can lead to a thesis paper or be project-based. The outcomes and intended final product of the research must be arranged by the student and faculty member prior to registration. Graded on A-F basis only.

Prerequisites: Junior or senior standing, and departmental consent required


INTL_S 4960: Readings in International Studies

Independent readings with supervisory faculty member. Open only to International Studies majors. May be repeated up to a maximum of 6 hours.
