Requirements

Students seeking to earn the Certificate in Business of Childcare will complete 4 online courses. Each course is 3 credits each, for a total of 12 credits needed for completion. The general areas of study includes administration and supervision in an early childhood setting, financial management of the business, legal and ethical considerations, and theories in child development.

To complete the Child Care Director Certificate, students must earn a grade of "C-" or better in each certificate course and a minimum 2.00 GPA overall for the certificate courses taken.
