Graduate Certificate in Evidence and Equity Based Literacy Instruction
The Graduate Certificate in Evidence and Equity Based Literacy Instruction is a 15-credit hour program that is an ideal add-on for any teacher, specifically those wanting to improve their pedagogical knowledge and skills for evidence and equity-based literacy practices. Courses equip students to critique, create, and implement quality literacy instruction and assessment. Students will gain knowledge of print, digital, and equitable resources to meet the needs of their students from all backgrounds and abilities. The graduate certificate has the option to be embedded into the Master’s in Education Literacy emphasis and the Missouri Department of Education Special Reading Certificate programs.
