Certificate in Dance
The Certificate in Dance provides students with a comprehensive exploration of dance as a performing art. The program emphasizes the development of technical skill, artistic creativity, and critical understanding of dance within theatre and in broader contexts. Through a sequence of performance-based and academic courses, students engage in studio training, choreographic exploration, and scholarly discussion that deepens their appreciation of movement as an expressive language. The program welcomes students from all majors who wish to enhance their performance abilities, expand their artistic vocabulary, or fulfill General Education requirements in the arts.
