Graduate Certificate in Arts Entrepreneurship
The Graduate Arts Entrepreneurship Certificate offers MU graduate students, as well as post-baccalaureate students in the MU community, courses focused on the business, management, and public engagement with the arts. Students benefit from the business, marketing, grant writing, and organizational skills offered by certificate courses to develop and build thriving careers in the many arts industries.
The Graduate Arts Entrepreneurship Certificate provides an excellent foundation for those who want to become working artists, musicians, actors, or designers and for those who want work in arts management in businesses or non-profit organizations. It provides each student the unique opportunity to explore their own creative process and their ability to collaborate with others.
Availability: Aimed primarily at graduate students in the School of Music, Department of Theatre and Performance Studies, and School of Visual Studies, this certificate is also available to all MU graduate students and to post-baccalaureate students in the MU community as an add-on to a degree or as a stand-alone certificate. All students or community members who wish to declare the certificate should contact Claire Syler at sylerc@missouri.edu.

Requirements
A certificate consists of at least 12 credits; at least 12 credits must be taken in MU course work. A student cannot receive a grade lower than a B- in any course applied towards the graduate certificate.
