Graduate Certificate in Gifted Education
The Gifted Education Certificate is a graduate level program designed to provide candidates with advanced preparation in gifted education methodology and practices. Candidates become equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to work with children and youth in the field of gifted education.
Requirements
Students complete a set 18 hour (6 courses) program of study. Students can enroll in practicum once the majority of the other coursework is completed. Students will work with program advisor to determine best order of courses. Students eligible for the certificate program must hold a bachelor’s degree in the field of education, special education, or related services. Eligible students may or may not be concurrently enrolled in a graduate program.
